What Help Me Park does
Help Me Park reads a photo of a parking sign and gives you its best interpretation of whether you can park, until when, and what it costs, based on your phone's clock.
The sign on the street always wins
Our answers are a guide, not legal advice. Signs can be misread, damaged, partly hidden or temporary, and other rules may apply (for example road rules, event restrictions, or permit conditions). Always check the sign yourself. You are responsible for where and how you park, and for any fines or towing. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for fines, towing or other losses that come from relying on an answer.
Payments and subscriptions
- A one-off check is a single payment for one answer. It isn't saved.
- Weekly and yearly subscriptions give unlimited checks and save them while active. They renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
- You can cancel anytime from Account → Manage. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
- Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable. Payments are processed by Stripe.
- Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including refunds where a service has a major problem.
Fair use
Use the app for checking parking signs. Don't misuse it, try to break it, resell it, or run automated requests against it. We limit how many checks can be made in a short time to keep the service working for everyone, and we may suspend accounts that abuse it.
Changes
We may update the app, prices or these terms. If we change subscription prices, we'll tell you before your next renewal, and you can cancel.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
